The team member at WhitePeak was engaged by the World Bank, to provide technical assistance for the development of the skill assessment report and workforce development. To achieve the objective of the project, significant amount of academic literature, government statistical data, and alternate research sources were studied and analysed. Additionally,  WhitePeak consultant had travelled to the field and conducted key informant interviews to create an accurate and comprehensive report. The report covered the following areas:

• Possible trade opportunities of the selected commodities such as maize, soya cake (soybean meal), beans, pigeon pea, dry chili, fruit concentrate, seafood (prawn & lobsters) and honey 
• The economic viability of commodities which could be exported by Mainland APEI+ nations to Mauritius and Seychelles
• Detailed description about the: context, market dynamics, potential, and challenges for each of the selected commodity
• Information about the horizontal constraints and reform policies
