The Government of India had envisioned a pilot program for food processing sector, which was to be financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). The objective of the project was to enhance the competitiveness of micro and small food processing enterprises (MSEs) in selected states of India. The project is estimated to cost US$ 450 million.
The team at WhitePeak were engaged by MoFPI (Ministry of Food Processing Industries) to provide an Operations Manual and a M&E Manual of Credit Enhancement Grant Scheme (CEGS) for Food Processing and Value Addition Pilot Program. The team performed a thorough analysis of the Project Appraisal Document to prepare following two documents.
